Ron Fraser set out to pursue his passion for exceptional wines, by embarking on the purchase of a property in Margaret River. Ron with a background in wine retailing had a desire to emulate the super-premium Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon wines which the region was becoming recognised for.
After a long search the vineyard was planted in 1997. The site in Margaret River, yielded outstanding fruit quality. At vintage all grapes are hand selected, carefully brought into the winey and undergo judicious wine making. Following careful cellaring the wines are released under ATTICUS. Atticus meaning “belonging to Attica”, the region around Athens being renowned for its age-old sophistication power and culture. These wines embody this sophistication and power, yet having age-worthy finesse. All wines are cellared 24/7 in climate controlled storage.
